In 2018, Dundee held it's first ever pride event which was a huge success and it was renewed for 2019. Taking place on Saturday 21st September, Dundee Pride 2019 began with a pride march through the city centre, beginning at the Nethergate Steep Church, passing by the McManus Galleries, the Wellgate, down the high street and finally into Slessor Garden's where people had stalls promoting their business and selling items. Slessor Garden's also had a stage as the focal point, where local artists could perform throughout the day. I was there to photograph the march and the first part of the activities in Slessor Gardens. Several hundreds turned up for the march and the slideshow below contains a selection from hundreds of shots I took that day.
